Before You Start
You need your device's MAC address to register gaming consoles, smart devices, and other devices on the HWS network.
A MAC address is a unique 12-character identifier (digits 0–9 and letters A–F) assigned to your device's network card.
Step 1: Check the Physical Device
Most devices have the MAC address printed on a label on the back or bottom. Look for "MAC," "MAC Address," "Wi-Fi Address," or "Hardware Address."
If you find it, you're done! If not, continue below.
Step 2: Find It in Settings
Gaming Consoles
PlayStation 5
Settings > Network > Connection Status > View Connection Status
PlayStation 4
Settings > System > System Information
Xbox Series X/S
Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced Settings
Xbox One
Settings > Network > Network Settings > Advanced Settings
Nintendo Switch
System Settings > Internet > Connection Status (look for "System MAC Address")
Smart TVs & Streaming Devices

Settings > Network > About
Apple TV
Settings > General > About (look for "Wi-Fi Address")

- Press Windows + R, type
cmd, press Enter
- Type
ipconfig /all and press Enter
- Look for "Physical Address" under your network adapter
macOS
- Click Apple menu > System Settings > Network
- Select your connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)
- Click Details > Hardware (look for "MAC Address")
Mobile Devices
iPhone/iPad
Settings > General > About (look for "Wi-Fi Address")
Android
Settings > About Phone > Status > Wi-Fi MAC Address
