Using the "j5 create® 360° All Around Webcam"

Overview

The j5 create® 360° All Around Webcam provides a panoramic view ideal for group meetings, classrooms, and conference rooms. It connects easily to your computer and works with most common video conferencing applications, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.

Connecting the Camera

1. Plug in the USB Cable

   • Connect the included USB cable from the webcam to an available USB port on your computer.

   • Wait a few seconds for your computer to automatically recognize and install the camera.

   • No additional drivers are required on Windows or macOS.

2. Confirm the Camera Is Working

   • Open your preferred video application (e.g., Zoom).

   • Go to Settings → Video and select j5 create® 360° All Around Webcam from the camera list.

   • You should now see the live video feed from the webcam.

Changing Camera Views

The j5 create® 360° webcam allows you to switch between several view modes directly from the camera.

1. Locate the Camera Mode Button

   • On the webcam itself, press the Mode or View button (see image below).
     
     

2. Cycle Through the View Modes

   • Each press changes the display mode:

     • 360° Panoramic View – Full-room wraparound view.

     • Split View – Two opposite sides of the room displayed simultaneously.

     • Focus View – Standard single-direction view, similar to a traditional webcam.

     • Presentation View – Focuses on one area, useful for demonstrations.
        

3. Verify in Zoom (or your app)

   • While in a meeting, press the mode button to toggle views until you find the one you prefer.

   • The change will take effect immediately on your participants’ screens.

Tips

• For best results, place the webcam in the center of the table.

• Ensure adequate lighting for all participants.

• If you experience connection issues, try a different USB port or restart the video application.
