In Slate, workflows are used to manage form submissions and their associated approval process. Submissions are grouped into bins, move through each person's queue, and are read in Slate Reader.
Slate Reader and workflows have their own vocabulary, defined below:

To review a form entry in Reader:
- Log on to Slate at https://success.hws.edu/manage
- Click on the Reader tab
- Open the form submission by clicking the paper icon
- To take action or review the form, in the bottom right-hand corner click Review Form / Send to Bin (if you don't see an option, the submission is not assigned to you or within your queue)
- Complete the appropriate information
- Assign it to the next bin
- Click Send
To reassign a record to a queue:
- Open the submission
- In the upper left-hand corner, click on the name and reference ID
- Click Edit Bin/Queue

- In the Queue field, enter the name of the person to receive the reassignment
Note: do not adjust the Bin field; bins are edited in Reader > Review Form.
- In Next Reader Notes, enter a note if desired
- Click Save
