Connect to HWS-Private with an Android

Use these instructions to connect a Chromebook or Android phone to the HWS-Private wireless network. You will need your HWS credentials to connect to the HWS-Private network.

Connect Your Device to HWS-Private

1. Enter the Settings application on your device and go to the Wi-Fi section

2. Tap Wi-fi Settings

3. Tap HWS-Private

4. In the Setup Menu window make sure you configure following

  1. In EAP Method choose PEAP from the drop-down
  2. Phase 2 authentication leave MSCHAPV2
  3. For CA certificate select do not validate from the drop-down menu
  4. In the Identity field, type your HWS username
  5. Leave Anonymous Identity blank
  6. In the password field, type your HWS password

7. Click OK
