Computer security and operating system updates are vitally important to complete both to optimize performance as well as to protect against potential security risks.
1. On the bottom left, go to Start > ESET
2. Right-click ESET Endpoint Antvirus
3. Click More
4. Click Run as administrator
5. In the pop-up window, click yes
From the ESET window, you should see green check marks that your machine is protected.
6.On the left navigation menu, click Update
7. At the bottom, click Check for updates
8. Follow any on screen instructions it provides to perform updates
Contact IT Services if one of the following occurs: the update fails, system is not protected, any other error message you may receive or unable to launch ESET.
