Installing the VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Client

To install the VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Client:

  1. Navigate to remotedesktop.hws.edu
  2. Click Install VMware Horizon Client

Install VMware Horizon Client

3. Select and download the appropriate version for your device

  1. Windows
  2. MacOS
  3. Linux

4. Run the downloaded Installer

  1. Agree to Terms and Conditions
  2. Restart after installation

Install Client

5. Launch VMware Horizon Client

Launch the Client

6.Select the Add Server option

Add Server

 

7. For Name of the Connection Server, enter remotedesktop.hws.edu

Enter Server Name

 

 

8. Enter your HWS Username and Password

Enter HWS Credientials

 

 

9. Select the Pool of computers you would like to access

Select Desktop Pool
