Export Survey Questions from Watermark

This article demonstrates the steps for generating a PDF file export of SLFF survey questions for creating an archive file which can be used to generate questions for use in the replacement software, SmartEvals.

Background:

After the Spring of 2025, Watermark software will no longer be used for completing the Student Learning and Faculty Feedback surveys. This article outlines the steps for exporting to PDF course survey questions. The PDF exports can be stored as a record of the questions asked and used to create SLFF surveys in the replacement software, SmartEvals. 

1. Log into Watermark

2. On the left side of the landing page, click on the Custom Questions dropdown

3. From the dropdown list select 'Custom Question Surveys'

4. On the Custom Question Surveys page, click on 'Date Updated' to sort surveys from oldest to newest

5. On the far right hand side of the page, under Options click on the 3 vertical dots

6. From the dropdown, select 'Export'. This will generate a PDF export of the survey for the course.
