Before You Start
- Call forwarding can only be turned on/off from your desk phone.
- This feature is your responsibility to manage based on your department or office needs.
- IT cannot manage call forwarding through systems administration.
Important: Enabling call forwarding (CFWD) bypasses the HWS voicemail system. Callers will be sent to the forwarded device's voicemail (if configured), not your HWS voicemail.
Nortel M3904 Phone

Turn On Call Forwarding
- Press Forward (bottom left of display)
- Dial 9 + 1 + area code + number you wish to forward to
- Press Done (bottom right of display)
- Display shows: "Calls Forwarded"
Turn Off Call Forwarding
- Press CheckFW (bottom left of display)
- Press CanclFW (bottom left of display)
- Display shows: "Call Forward Canceled" for 2 seconds, then returns to normal
Avaya 1140E Phone

Turn On Call Forwarding
- Press Forward (bottom left of display)
- Dial 9 + 1 + area code + number you wish to forward to
- Press Forward (bottom left of display)
- Display shows: "CFWD"
Turn Off Call Forwarding
- Press Forward (bottom left of display)
- Press Cancel (bottom right of display)
- Display shows: "Call forward canceled" for 5 seconds, then returns to normal
Analog Phone

Call forwarding is not available on analog phones at this time.
