Student Printing Guide
Printers available to Students
There are currently five Public printers available for student use as well as the use of Print Services, our full service print shop located in the basement of Scandling. This article provides instructions for how to use the available student printers and access Print Services.
Student Use printers are located at the following five locations:
- Adams Intercultural Center (AIC) Lab
- Elliot 1st Floor
- Library 1st Floor (two printers)
- Library 2nd Floor
Note: If your print job is large or has non-standard requirements, please submit your print through the HWS Print Services Portal: PRINTING.HWS.EDU.
Print Services Portal
Our on-campus Print Services department provides professional printing, design, finishing, mailing, and large-format production services, supporting students, faculty, staff, and community customers with high-quality, cost-effective solutions for everything from everyday documents to specialty projects, such as Fat Heads, Graduation/Event Announcements, Repositionable Stickers, Art Portfolios, Form Core Mounted Photos/Art and much more. Print requests for Print Services can be entered at PRINTING.HWS.edu.

Print Instructions for Student Use printers
Printing is available through the public computers located in the first floor of the library, some lab computers as well as from personal devices either through a web portal or by installing a printing app.
Printing from public printers
Public/Lab computers: Printers are pre installed at log in on the Library 1st floor public computers as well as from several labs on campus, such as AIC. When you are ready to print from these devices, select a printer from the available printer list.
Printing from personal devices (at this time, printing is not available through phones)
Web Print: For simple printing (single sided, black/white, no special case needs such as stapling, etc.) use Web Print by entering PRINTIT.HWS.edu into your preferred browser.

Print Deploy: For advanced print options such as multi-sided printing, stapling, etc. you will need to install the Print Deploy client. Find the appropriate Print Deploy client below based on your device and follow the install instructions.
Windows (https://pcutsrv.hws.edu:9192/print-deploy/client/windows)
Allow the application to install by following the onscreen installation instructions.
Once completed, available student printers will now show in your Printers List.
MacOS (https://pcutsrv.hws.edu:9192/print-deploy/client/macos)
Allow the application to install by following the onscreen installation instructions.
Sign into the application.
Printers will auto install.
Once completed, available student printers will now show in your Printers List.
Additional installs available for Chrome and Linux printers.
