To ensure both faculty and students have flexible and reliable access to the wide variety of software tools the Colleges supports in campus computing labs, IT Services has invested in a tool that allows for managed access to public desktop computers. Students (using their own devices) that need specialized software installed to campus computers (all computer labs -both Mac and PC), during class or other designated work times, will be able to gain access to complete their assigned work.

Public desktop computers are available throughout campus for all students, faculty, and staff to use. these computers have specialized software installed to support teaching and learning.

Before each semester begins, every student receives $15 worth of print credits added to their print quota. Annually, on August 1, accounts reset to $15 worth of credit. On January 1, an additional credit of $15 will be added to the print quota for use in the spring semester. Credits roll over only from fall to spring semesters, but not from spring to fall.

The ESRI software tool platform, ArcGIS, is a commercial GIS software tool that is widely used to display and examine spatial data. In addition to ESRI desktop tools, users can also share created data on the Internet using ArcServer and ArcGIS Online for Organizations software.
