Connecting to HWS Network from Off-Campus (VPN)

Before You Start

VPN (Virtual Private Network) is required to access some HWS resources from off-campus, such as network storage.

  • You will need your HWS username and password
  • You will need to receive a 6-digit passcode via one of the available delivery methods (text, call, or app)

Note: You will not be able to use your knowledge-based questions to access this system, you will need to use one of the delivery methods available to receive your 6-digit passcode.

Windows

1. Tap the Windows button on your keyboard or in the bottom left of your screen.

2. Type in "Connect Tunnel" in the text box and open.

2. Enter your HWS username and password

3. Click Connect

4. Select a method for receiving your passcode

5. Click OK

6. Enter your passcode

7. Click OK

MacOS

1. Go to Applications folder

2.Double Click Connect Tunnel

3. Click Connect

#

4. Enter your HWS username and password

5. Click OK

6. Select a method for receiving your passcode

7. Click Ok

8. Enter your passcode

9. Click OK

#

You should now be connected to the VPN client.
