To "unjunk" an email in Outlook 365, you need to mark it as "Not Junk" or "Not Spam". This action removes the email from your Junk Email folder and, in some cases, adds the sender to your Safe Senders list to prevent future misclassification.
To unjunk an email in Outlook 365:
1. Navigate to the Junk Email folder listed in your Email folder list in the left column, locate the email that was incorrectly classified as junk and click the button IT'S NOT JUNK.
-
Outlook on the web: Select the email, then click the "..." (More actions) menu, and choose "Mark as not junk" or "Not junk".
-
Outlook desktop client: Select the email, then click the "Junk" button on the Home ribbon and choose "Not Junk".
-
Alternatively, right-click the email and select "Mark as not junk" or "Not Junk" .

2. (Optional) Add the sender to your Safe Senders list: This ensures future emails from that sender bypass the junk filter.
By marking an email as "Not Junk", you're training Outlook to recognize that sender as legitimate, and future emails from that address should arrive in your Inbox.
