Summary (what you get):
IT Services offers a variety of equipment for loan to students, faculty, and staff to support the HWS curriculum and co-curricular activities. Faculty, students and staff may borrow equipment such as video cameras, tripods and headsets with microphones at the Help Desk.
Services include:
- Basic training on the use of the equipment will be provided at the time equipment is loaned.
Service does not include:
IT Services does not loan peripheral devices such as chargers, adapters, web cams, microphones, etc. for general student use. Faculty and staff needing equipment to conduct their work should reach out to IT Services to discuss their equipment needs.
Charges
Equipment not returned on or before due date will be subject to a late fine of 10% of the replacement cost of each item per day at a maximum rate of $25/day and a minimum of $1.00/day.
When you receive it:
- Equipment is available on a first come, first served basis and can be picked up at the Help Desk
- Equipment can be signed out for a maximum of 3 days unless other arrangements are made in advance and must be returned on or before the agreed upon due date
- HWS Photo ID is required to pick up equipment
- Curricular activities are given priority for more limited equipment
