Summary (what you get):
Public desktop computers are available throughout campus for all students, faculty, and staff to use. These computers, which are a mix of Linux, Mac, and Windows, have specialized software installed to support teaching and learning. When using a public computer, please save your files to your network space, Box, or OneDrive. Note: All computers will restart every morning at 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time to install updates. This restart will cause all local files to be deleted.
New software, upgrades to existing software, and operating system updates are done annually, and more frequently as needed.

When you receive it:
Library Computers
Computers, both Mac and Windows, are situated on the first, second and third floors of the Library and are available whenever the Library is open. Printers are available on the first floor.
Remote-Only Computer Lab
Access can be requested by using the Request Remote Access button at the upper right.
Computer Labs
Barron Multimedia Lab: Located in the foyer of the Warren Hunting Smith Library, this iMac lab is open 24/7. Public printing is available.
Gulick Hall Lab: Located in Room 101 this lab provides access to Windows computers and is open when the building is open. Public printing is available.
Demarest Hall Lab: Located in the basement of Demarest Hall in room 002 and is a Windows and Linux lab. Public printing is available.
Stern Lab: Located in the Stern 301 and is a Windows lab and is open when the building is open. Public printing is available.
Library 1st Floor: The library first floor is open and available 24/7 and offers both Windows and Mac computers as well as walk up bring your own device stations. Public printing is available.
Department labs are available to students but availability and access is determined by the individual department.
Service does not include:
Departmental computer labs, laptop carts, or other special use computers.
