How do I unsubscribe from a LISTSERV discussion list?

Membership in Listserv and distribution lists is automatic. Distribution list membership is mandatory and you cannot unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe from a LISTSERV discussion list one of two ways:

 

1. Send an e-mail to listserv@list.hws.edu. In the body of the message, you should type "unsubscribe" and the name of the discussion list from which you wish to unsubscribe. Please see the screen shot below for an example.

2. The second option to unsubscribe is to contact the IT Services Help Desk.
