Voicemail: How to Access Voicemails

There are a few different ways to access your voicemails from both on and off-campus using a phone. Follow the directions below that best describe how you are accessing your voicemails.

Note: Voicemails through the web portal is available if Adobe Flash is enabled.

Using Your Desk Phone to Access Voicemails

Using the Webportal to Access Voicemails

Using Another HWS Phone To Access Voicemails

Using an Outside Line to Access Voicemails (Added To Phone Numbers)

Using an Outside Line to Access Voicemails (Not Added To System)

Using Your Desk Phone to Access Voicemails

1. Dial 3113 (on campus) or 315-781-3113 (off campus)
2. Enter your security code
   If you don’t remember your security code, please see the tutorial on resetting your security code.
3. After announcement of new voicemails, press 2 to listen to the new voicemail
4. Press 6 to skip message

Using the Webportal to Access Voicemails

1. Go to voicemail.hws.edu to view or listen to your messages.
   *Requires VPN if off campus
2. Choose Sign In With Organization 
3. Log in using your HWS network credentials

Using Another HWS Phone To Access Voicemails

1. Dial 3113 (on campus)
2. Press * before the security code request is finished
3. Enter your 4-digit extension
4. Enter your security code
   If you don’t remember your security code, please see the tutorial on resetting your security code.
5. After announcement of new voicemails, press 2 to listen to the new voicemail
6. Press 6 to skip message

Using an Outside Line to Access Voicemails (Added To Phone Numbers)

1. Dial 315-781-3113 (off campus)
2. Enter your security code

3. After announcement of new voicemails, press 2 to listen to the new voicemail
4. Press 6 to skip message

Using an Outside Line to Access Voicemails (Not Added To System)

1. Dial 315-781-3113 (off campus)
2. Press * before the security code request is finished
