Online Student Learning Feedback Forms Using Evaluation Kit

Student Learning Feedback Forms (formerly Course Evaluations) become available during the last week of classes each semester through Reading Days and Exams.  For the Fall 2023 semester, this period is from Monday, December 4th (8 a.m. Eastern) until Friday, December 15th (11:59 p.m. Eastern). Students and faculty receive messages with more detailed information approximately one week prior to when the student feedback period begins.

Faculty will not have access to the feedback until after all final grades have been submitted to the Registrar’s Office. Student submissions are anonymous; faculty and staff at the Colleges are not able to tell what responses a specific student has submitted. Feedback responses that are determined to be hateful and discriminatory on the basis of attributes such as age, color, disability, domestic violence victim status, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, veteran status, class, or any other status protected at the Colleges and/or within the HWS Community Standards may be removed from the record at the instructor’s instigation and will not be used in tenure and promotion cases.

Completing the Student Learning Feedback Forms

EvaluationKIT is a service that the Colleges use for online course evaluations.

Use HWS credentials to access EvaluationKit. Once you have submitted your responses, you will receive a confirmation certificate for each course feedback form via e-mail.

Note: Expect only one feedback form per course. Online student feedback will NOT be collected for Reader's Colleges, PEC classes, PER classes, music lessons, internships, teacher education practica, writing colleague placements, and some language/science labs, independent studies and honors courses. Online student feedback will also NOT be collected for courses with less than two enrollments.
